MEETUPS & SPECIAL EVENTS
PCC SPECIAL EVENTS

PCC'S MONTHLY DANCE PARTIES!

Our monthly dances are some of PCC’s most popular special events! Held at night toward the end of each month, our dances alternate between locations in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, making it easy for members across Long Island to join the fun.

Each dance brings a new theme, a DJ spinning great beats, festive lights and decorations, delicious eats, and, plenty of moves on the dance floor. Whether you come ready to dance or simply enjoy the company of friends, there’s always a reason to celebrate at PCC.

Speed-friending is officially fun!

PCC is proud to host official Speed-friending game nights!

This structured game provides the support participants need to comfortably foster social connections and make lasting friends. It's a lively, pressure free, way for people to meet and get to know others.

We are so excited to share our lives, likes, stories and interests with all our new friends!

WINE & CHEESE ART AUCTION

A Celebration of Art, Community & Connection

PCC’s Wine & Cheese Art Auction was a beautiful afternoon filled with creativity, laughter, and community. Guests enjoyed delicious wine and artisanal cheeses while exploring an incredible collection of artwork created by PCC members, participating in the auction and raffle, and connecting with friends and supporters. Set against a beautiful summer backdrop, the afternoon was a wonderful celebration of creativity and togetherness, and the generosity of our artists, sponsors, supporters, and guests helped make this inaugural event truly special. Most importantly, it was a day filled with beautiful art, wonderful company, and the simple joy of coming together.

PCC NEWS UPDATE

When you live your whole life surrounded by water, on a chunk of land with "Island" in its name, one of two things tend to happen. Either you become water obsessed, spending your days floating on waves, or you forget that the waves even exist. Our adventure on the Atlantis Explorer River boat reaquanted us with our wet and wonderful world! We interacted with local sea creatures like spidar crabs, sea stars and osprey.

Pride 2023

it was chilly day for early June, but it didn't seem to matter. Hundreds of people lined up along the street, sparkling in hues of sunshine and rainbows.

This was a day for community to celebrate! It was Patchogue's very first PRIDE Parade.

Rainbow colored cars, unicorn floats, dazzling drag queens and even a decked out PRIDE Santa all made an appearance.

What an incredible night of CELEBRATION!

There are so many great reasons to become a Positive Community Connections member. From monthly initiatives, to social meetups, community outreach events and more. As a member you have access to all the fun and support that we offer.

What a day at Cedar Creek
Park in Seaford. On Thursday May 25th members of PCC got together at
the park and had a fierce kickball game with the NY Matt’s edging out
Tony’s team 6-5. Great sportsmanship and efforts by both teams. After
eating our packed meals we played lawn games such as frisbee, ladder
toss, and cornhole! Everyone socialized and had fun, relaxing time on
a beautiful Spring evening. Great meet up PCC and great attendance as
