PCC pulled off another awesome Speed-friending event—proof that even a chilly day can turn warm fast when you’re surrounded by good people and good vibes. The energy was high, the conversations were nonstop, and the Hawaiian leis definitely added a playful twist.
Participants rotated from station to station, answering creative prompts and swapping stories that ranged from hilarious to heartfelt. It didn’t take long for the surprises to start rolling in. We learned who’s a devoted Disney fanatic, who bleeds blue-and-orange for the New York Mets, and—yes—whose can casually drop rap verses like it’s nothing. (Instant legend status.)
This is exactly what makes Speed-friending so much fun: you get to discover the unexpected, celebrate what makes us different, and maybe even walk away with a few new friends who share your favorite fandoms or hidden talents.
By the end of the event, people were laughing, swapping contacts, and already talking about the next time we’ll all get together.
